Ian Tan

He has come a very long way from his humble beginnings to where he is today in life. When he started playing bass guitar professionally, he didn’t even have a bass guitar to call his own. He went into the corporate world while doing odd jobs to sustain himself and maybe buy his own guitar. He has since established himself to be not just a respected bass player and musician, but one of the most respected and sought-after professionals in the world of I.T. His love and passion for music never wavered through all his years of establishing himself as an I.T. executive. Music was always deeply a part of him and, today, he is an established and respected musician as well.

All the challenges he faced left and right and how he overcame them are why he is the kind of man he is today. A true gentleman, professional, and a most loyal friend, he has never missed a gig since he started playing with Top Suzara many years ago, and he has since become one of Top’s very best friends; sharing a faithful view of life and family, humble dreams and aspirations, professionalism, and a true passion for making and sharing music. Through his journey, he lives by showing that hard work and prayer make the difference. A man blessed should bless others. And that is what he does every single day.

He is a loving husband, a faithful servant of the Lord, a dreamer and doer, a true I.T. whiz, a successful businessman and toy maker, and a true brother and friend.
