Picture this. At the meet and greet after a Freestyle mall show many years ago while promoting their first album, a young high school student hands a piece of paper to Top Suzara and asks “Hi Top! Are these the right chords for So Slow?” Top checked his handwritten notes and replied “Yes, they are!”

Fast forward to today, with extensive experience playing live and recording, playing for many artists and bands, managing music for musical theater projects and keeping busy with advertising audio production, that young man has since made a name for himself as a most respected musician and Musical Director, Arranger and Producer.

For many years, he has worked closely with Top for recording and producing original songs and doing audio production for advertising, all the while teaching and sharing his technological prowess while learning from the lessons life would bring.

What’s even more remarkable than all his musical talents and skill, though, is his beautiful soul that he wears on his sleeve. He spares no time in doing what’s right and standing up for what’s right, especially if it’s for others.

A devoted and loving husband and father, brother and son, he also personifies loyalty through the quality of friendship he offers to all his brothers and sisters. He is what a true friend is and should be in every definition and description anyone could ever find.

Through the years since then, he has forged a brotherhood together with Top that has seen them through some of the best and worst times, and through to the most beautiful and valuable wins in life so far, all the while making sure each other’s feet are humbly planted on the ground and hands are prayerfully raised in love and thanksgiving to Him. Come what may, brothers. Through thick and thin.

This is why him now being fully part of Freestyle just makes so much sense. It’s natural. Meant to be. Who would have known that the very first meeting they had many years ago would so far lead up to this time today; with them together as Freestyle? Music has indeed brought their paths together and this day finds them with so much music to create and share for everyone. However, it is their true brotherly love that binds them.

It is truly an honor and privilege to have him with us as we all continue together to write the next chapters in this beautiful journey.
